I was thinking I might try to jumper voltages from the main power supply back to the other voltage points formerly served by the SMPS. Several of them are the same. I might be able to get most (all?) of them that way. Assuming the additional |

If you combined, let's say (for testing purposes ONLY) the 12 volt supplies, the 5 & 5.5 together and combine the 2.5 & 3.5 and compromise t |

Yes I agree... If I can come up with several supplies like you say, I could wire them in there even if some of them did have isolated grounds. I guess I'll get started on that.

05-02-2009 | Tevion MD 7123 | Hi,
I was wondering if you would be able to assist me in getting a schematic diagram for the above widescreen 70cm TV.
Some components caused damage to the circuit board, and just need to find what needs to be replaced.
Many thanks in advance.

05-02-2009 | | Thank you for the help! I've opened my TV and think I found the part. I'll confirm once I get the new one in the mail. The biggest issue I have is that the PCB is connected to other parts of the TV so I have not found a good set up that will allow me |

05-02-2009 | | If you unplug the cables going to the front panel and speakers, you should have enough slack to slide the board out and tip it up to gain access to the botton to unsolder the IC. The IC should be an LA7837 or someting close to that (this is from memory). |

05-02-2009 | | If the SMPS has totally stopped functioning...how do red lights obtain power?
Some sets have a seperate "standby" power supply and some sets use a portion of the main SMPS to supply "standby" voltage(s). |

I was thinking it sounded similar to the receiver I am working on. In my case, the red LEDs flash as the SMPS attempts to function. I believe you are saying that since his are on solid, some portion of the SMPS or the standby |
