| Strictly working from memory;
If I am not mistaking, PM420 has a similar output circuit. Back in the days, there was discrete vs STK hybrid used in various brands/models across the board. At times it would be easier to get the datasheet of the IC. 9 out of 10 times, the hybrid STK would be a problem w/no audio. (dc on output rails tripping the relay). | Hello All,
I'm on the hunt for a service manual for a Marantz PM520DC. Mine died and the speaker protection relay won't engage so im assuming the power amplifier IC has failed, these parts are easily obtained, while i'm at it i'm going to replace all the capacitors. Cheers in advance |
