Video machines sometimes have a moisture sensor near the revolving head. It is for condensation, not wetness. Maybe it needs replacing or a series resistor has changed value. Put it in a dry, warm room for a couple of hours.

my camcorder still can power on,but only if i dont close the eject,
after i close it,its turning himself power-down.
he is dry and totally open,where to look for the moisture-sensors???
do it have a protection what you have to replace after this moisture came in???
he only beeps when turning on,and in camera-mode,there i can see normal picture on the display,but if i want to put a tape in,or even close
the cover for the tape,he powers-down.
its a second time for me,i had the same problem with a older camera from sony,that one was totally dead after moisture came in.
Can anyone help me whit this problem???
i"am really desperated,PLEASE any respons???
