| Based on your pictures, it looks like power supply issues--more than likely dried up electrolytic capacitors.
This is not an easy task for a beginner. |

| Hello, first post!
I know painfully little about repair and this isn't an important project but I though I'd see if I could find someone familiar with this model or similar that could give me some tips on what areas of the machine I should check. Input from camera and aux results in the first picture I'm posting. VTR playback is the second. It plays back SP tapes in EP speed.
