| I'm looking for a schematic for an RCA Model 27R410T chassis ITCC008FAM
This TV belongs to my parents and was knocked out by a power surge that did damage all around town. We live 40 miles from the nearest service center so I thought I'd give it a try. I worked as a tech during the 70’s and 80’s so I kinda know what I'm doing. The TV only cost $169 which is less than the insurance deductible and probably not worth investing much time or parts but I'm hoping it might be something simple otherwise it goes to the recycler, a shame. Symptoms: Set is dead but I can hear a high frequency oscillator running and when the power button is pressed the frequency decreases slightly. I checked the fuses and fusible resistor and looked for obvious stuff. Any help or suggestions would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance |
