wouldnt touch it, very poor quality set, the time involved and reliability afterwards couldn't be justified.

PostPosted: Mon Jul 24, 2006 8:27 pm    Post subject: Matsui TV - sound defaults to full - help!

Hi all, really hope someone an help with this.

I have a Matsui TV - Model 25N10. The remote for this TV is broken and has now been discarded. I have found a site that does a replacement, but before I order I have another issue that is apparently connected. Basically, when I turn my TV on the volume is defaulting to full. This causes panic as you frantically try to turn the volume down!!

I have been told that this is quite possibly a setting on the remote? It was suggested that by messing around with universal remotes (which I have been doing) then I may have reset the volume default?

Anyone have any ideas on this at all? Maybe there is a service code I can enter to reset the box to its factory default?
