Hello

I have a Hitachi 43FDX01B that was handed down by my parents after they got a new TV. Lately it has been flickering with a reddish-purplish tint after watching it for a while. It's fine for about an hour or so, but after that, it starts to flicker those tints. One time it actually stayed with a purple tint for a good amount of time before going back to the normal color. What could be causing this? Can it be fixed and is it worth getting fixed depending on how much it will cost? Is it something that I can fix myself? I recently moved the TV about 50 miles away from my parents house to mine. I'm not sure if the move could have caused the problem or not. It didn't start flickering right after I moved it though. It was fine for about two or three weeks. Any help on this would be appreciated. Thanks.
