| I've no idea what that means. I've never done any tv repairs before. Should I attempt to repair it myself. If so, how? Should I take it to the store for repair and how much do you think it would cost? Should I just chuck it out the back of a fast moving truck into a slow pedestrian? |

That thing is too new for output transistors in the vertical section, it has a vertical output IC. And the problem is most likely in the convergence output circuit, probably the output IC's.

Maybe the verticle section? Start by testing the verticle output transistors/IC and work your way back.  |

| Hi. This is a rear projection tv. I am getting a horizontal bow tie for the picture. Everything else works fine. Any ideas for what is causing it? Should I attempt repair myself or take it to a shop? |
