Don't know this model , sorry . I would look for a bad FET or Bipolar transistor that modulates the B+ line to HOT via Flyback . This modulation changes the width of horiz sweep lines . Transistor will most likely be a TO 220 package with a small heatsink . That is the old way in a lot of monitors . Most TV will use a change in the base driving signal for the HOT called the E-W correction .This may be a loss of value in memory , service manual would be helpful ,but,I do not have one. I have a Hitachi model TE-8706 with a Pincaution problem the picture a round in corner any idea what could cause that ? Thanks where I could find the service manual I know it's an old tv but not use very much and very clean picture if I can remove that pincaution problem |
