Thanx for the part numbers!
Is there anywhere in Canada to buy these parts I need. I'd like to stay away from having to bring them across the border if I can, but I can't find any stores in Canada? Maybe I'm just not looking in the right places, i dunno?

Common replacement failure parts are Q4101=SGSIF461=RCA # 200165, U4101V=TEA2261=RCA # 200419, F4005=5 amp fuse, C4108=47 Uf,50v, C4108=39 Uf,50v=RCA # 208002 (in some units), C4108=47 Uf,100v=RCA # 193623, CR4101=546-002=RCA old # 164588,RCA new # 207878,some say you can also use RCA # 164589 (small diode), CR4106=A-23=B4304=RCA # 176296 (large diode), C4102=2.2 Uf,100v=RCA # 242026,RCA # 195691, C4104=15 Uf,100v=RCA # 189982, CR4118=PFR 851/6,FR305=RCA # 164590 (huge diode) and CR4122=BZX855 3VC=2.7B=ECG5065A. In some cases these parts also have a high failure rate: R4118=CF 33K ohm,1/4 watt=RCA # 175314, R4114=MF 45.3 K ohm,1/4 watt=RCA # 176506 and R4001=2.7 ohms,15 watt. When it comes to Sony & RCA ALWAYS USE OEM #'s or the exact generic #'s when it comes to semiconductors but for electrolytic caps you can use any replacements.

I sent mate electronics an email telling them what I want and how much for the order. I've got no reply! Do they ship to Canada, do they use UPS or USPS or ??? Anybody know? Not getting a reply usually tells me something about the company!

1.4 means shorted. I'd try a flyback and hot.

Sorry it has the ctc169pt chassis.
I pulled the HV line off the splitter, didn't make any difference cuz there is no voltage on this line at all. This tells me I need a new flyback, correct?
Also when I test T4101 (reg b+)I get 18vdc, T4007 (raw b+)I get 170vdc and when I ohm the HOT I get 1.4ohms. 1.4ohms no matter how I check it, c-e, b-e, b-c, etc..
Suggestions???
