The KD-28DL10U is a FE-2D chassis, 9 times out of 10 on any FE-2x chassis's i look at to repair with 2 blinks they are s/c H OUT transistor Q533 and LOPT (flyback transformer) and R518 2K7 (on this model, does differ on other models) SMD chip resistor gone high or O/C ... in fact R518 is damaged when the LOPT fails and is the quickest and easyiest way to tell if the LOPT is faulty .... measure it's value in circuit you should get a reading of around 2.55 k ohms in circuit due other parts of the circuit, any higher even 2.7 k ohms and the resistor and LOPT will be faulty .... |

TWO Blinks---B+ over current protection (OCP) , unit goes to the standby mode then displays the 2 blink fault. Could be a short in the power supply of any of the circuits. |

This is a Sony set with an integrated freeview box. Red led is flashing twice then green led once continuously. Possible LOPT? No picture or sound is the fault. |
