Hi do you think you could post that link please vinman. I'm having the same problem with an hp 1702 not powering up (not even leds.) I've opened the case but capacitors look fine and having trouble spotting cold solder joints. |

resolder the 8 joints on the 4 yellow coils ,theyre cold solder joints usually fix problem[/b] |

Remove the black screws on the back. Pry around perimeter until separate. 3 screws for switch pcb, 4 screws around cage |

The whole hp 1702 and l1955 monitors just do not last. I have had HP swap them out approximtely 37 times. It is under replacement warantee for 3 years Keep on swapping. |

Hi
I have a HP L1702 monitor that will not turn on !! The Led turns green then nothing. I have removed the outer casing to have a look at the components and contacts, but i am not sure what i am looking at. Are there any basics i should check before i bin it ??
