| Try adjust the SCREEN regulator on flyback transformer.
White screen may result in big current flow through protection resistor and trigger the Over-current protection (2times flashing LED) Let me know your results |

| Hello-
I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction for correcting a problem I am experiencing with a 6-y.o. Sony kv-24fv12. When I turn the set on, it take about 3-5 seconds for an all white screen to appear. This screen lasts for another 5 seconds and then fades and the set powers down at this time. There after, 2 blinks are flashed successively. I was able to get the set to display its self-diagnostic function which displayed the following before fading out: 2: 4 3: NA 4: 0 5: 19 101: NA The numbers after the 2 and 5 increased by one every time I performed the self diagnostic function. I know that 2 blinks indicates either: (1) H OUT (Q502) is shorted, A Board or (2) IC702 is faulty. Can anyone help here? Is it likely that one of the above is more likely than the other or does something else come to mind. Thanks, Jason |
