| Hi Guys. just got off the phone with a phillips senior tech.. solved problem....
1. switchoff until and un plug power cable from unit. 2. wait 60 secs 3. holding power button down ..plug unit back in. **this will bring it to th dealer mode (but still follow all steps, or will not work) 4. now hold stop button for 3 to 4 secs. (this turns off demo mode and powers unit down.) 5. turn power on and press open close on main cd tray.. ***unit should now be unlocked and playable again. ENJOY!!! |

| Anybody know how to get the cd trays to open on a Philips FW-R7? It always says "Locked" when the open tray button is pushed. Nobody was able to help the last person who asked and it has been a while since that post. The CDs will not play if the tray is opened manualy, it always says "Insert Disc".
