| Hi, if you are indeed right then i think you will find a lot more damage to your equipment than a blown fuse. In the struggle between god and surge protection (even if you had one fitted), afraid there is only one winner. |

| Hi, We bought a 50" plasma LG tv 3-3 1/2 years ago. One day suddenly the picture goes black but there's audio. We are debating whether to get a new plasma or try and get it fixed (not knowing if this is a costly venture). I am thinking it could be a blown fuse as two days before we had a thunder and lightning where we had a brief blackout but it blew out our other t.v. Any suggestions? |

| Hi there if you have replaced these two caps (C19 & C97) and it didn't help then you may need to replace C103 - a tiny electrolytic next to C19. I did this and now my TV is fine! Check out http://www.avforums.com/forums/showthread.php?t=725585&highlight=dgk-420w |
