Hi,

I read your request.
Did you find the schematics for the 3900z by the way?

I have a receiver like that, with a blown ampli R-channel. Maybe you can provide me with clues where to look?

Regards,
Rene

Hi Rene,

Try to look for two fuses hidden inside a box. it's underneath the board for the main fuse... it's probably blown. Mine is always like that due to over volume

A Picture of the board and a schematic would help alot to help you figure it out.

Thanx Zal,

I'm not sure about the rest of the site you directed me to. Lukily my Rumenian is not so good to read all the links, but I guess some terms are International,...

To whom it may concern, I have cured the problem in the right channel.
Seems that resistor R28 crashed & burned. I will replace it and enjoy the music from a receiver I bought for 8,- euros.

R. Marell

Hi Boggs,

Thanks for the tip.
Would you also happen to have any clues for me to repair a R-channel.
I've transplanted most transistors from left to right hoping that I would move the problem to the left channel.
Left channel still fine, right channel still no sound...
