| Thank you for the response. I have tried to find a schematic of the tv (I have the service manual and parts list) so that I can locate the C832. I assume the "tact switch" is the push button switch on the front of the set.
Since the bak of the set is removed for repair, are these parts easily accessible to the "home repair' person or is this a job for a service person due to the size/weight of the tv and the location of the parts to be replaced.? thanks again for your time. Mark |

| I have the above t.v. and when I go to shut it off either with the remote or the power button on the set the picture/screen goes white w/ a white criss-cross line thru it. The set also make a high pitched whine. If the power button is pressed again, the set comes back on normally.
The only way to shut it off is to unplug it. Any suggestions would be appreciated. mark |
