Yes, this seems to be more the norm than the exception. There are many printers where this is the case. Even with color laser printers where if you need to buy 4 toners, its cheaper to buy a new printer, then you can use the old one for parts.

Frank- There is no service manual available for this printer. Your best bet would be to go to the Lexmark site and see what resources are available there.

Hi guys, I have a Lexmak all in one printer Modle# P6250 lately has been telling me that ,CLEAR CARRIER JAM,ipress <sellect> like it suggests to clear the jam and never clear the carrier jam so can't use it no more.
i know it might no have ink, is this why it sais clear carrier jam? i hate to go out and buy the ink that cost about 60 bucks and then it's not the ink any suggestions thanks in advance. |
