If the tv has a membrane-style keyboard on the front panel, try disconnecting it and then switch it on by the remote. It is very common on those membrane keyboards of Thomson sets, that they get leaky across one or more switches, and this can cause the microcontroller to lock up.
A common power supply problem in many Thomson chassis is that there are some wire jumpers below the supply transformer, those jumpers can get displaced and cause shorts to the transformer pins, sometimes causing very strange symptoms. |

Hi all!
I have a tv to tepair, but I can't solve the problem.
The ps doesn't work at all. I have already changed the Ic (TEA2261) and caps. Diódes and resistors are good. On secunder side there isn't any short. 300 volts is ok. Everything seems to be good, but the ps doesn't work at all. If you know this problem please help. Thanks. Márton |
