| suggest you check your connections, then consult your user manual- find out if you are doing something wrong- if so, rectify- if no work suggest fault in your unit- warranty?. | |

| Friends, I live in Argentina. I bought a Sony DVD Player 78H in London, HDMI Output and upscaling to 1080p. I connect it to my Sony LCD 32", and I see a black and grey image instead of the blue one. I put a DVD inside, and the image fits itself, I can se well the picture. I press stop, and I see the blue and correct "Sony DVD Player" screen. I press eject, and the image comes back to the grey and black one, with vertical grey bars...
