I got lucky with this problem (fixed). I wiggled the connectors on the inverter board to no avail so I opened the rest of it up. The connector on the other end of the cable wasn't seated properly. Probably from some rough roads I was on. A little hot glue and a big sigh of relief. Saved some $$$. Worth a check for anybody else having the same problem. Rico  |

| Hello forum readers. I have a tosh sat 4300 laptop. It has xp sp2 loaded and worked fine until now. It still boots the os but the display is dark. It didn't flicker first or show any signs of a problem. I checked for voltage at the inverter board but found nothing. I cannot find a service schematic for this model. I would like to find test points and specs before I open up the chassis. Does anybody have any ideas? I would really like to fix this pc if there is a chance to do so. Thanks. |
