| Easier to replace the remote. Look at the new one for the value and fix the old as a spare. For grins I try about a 1uf cap. |

ha..good luck finding a schematic for that...
either get a replacemant remote as minnie posted OR if you are positive that there is no cracked PCB, the value of the capacitor is NOT that critical in the application. More likely is used for signal coupling.... Depending on the type of cap, you could try anything in the pico or microfarad range.(space permitted 'fcourse). |

| Only half of the remote control is working, e.g Power button not working and volume up works but not down. There is a broken capacitor inside but I don't know the value. Does anyone have a circuit diagram for the remote? |
