check main ac fuse, on many panasonic models the main fuse goes on startup because degauss circuit goes over amperage.probably 6.3 amp gma fuse. |

It's impossible to say whats wrong without some clues or tests.
All you say it stopped turning on, does this mean the power switch is faulty, is there a blown fuse or other component?
Anything happens when you switch it on? Like blink of a light, a flashing light or even a ticking noise for example, anything like this is a sign that the set is in 'trip mode'
You must remember there are very high voltages in a TV set even though it could be switched of a considerable time which can prove fatal, if you are uncertain then leave it for someone with experience.

My Panasonic CRT TV, 36sx12f, just stopped turning on. It seems to me the power button may have given out, but I don't know.
I need to know if there is a solution. Thank you very much. |
