In case of a computer monitor, i discourage from widescreen models if it is to be used for web browsing, general office work etc. A 4:3 monitor will work well together with all computers, while widescreen monitors might get problems together with some older graphics cards. This is particularly true when using graphic applications (CAD/CAM software, games etc) from before the widescreen era, particularly if they are to be run in DOS fullscreen mode. |

Definetly and HDTV is the way to go. We've got a 43" Sony downstairs and a 40" Samsung upstairs in our bedroom, both of them are hooked up to Bose Surround systems. Awesome!

These days I will purchase my first lcd monitor. Could you tell me what is the most important feature I should look (and what does it mean) for to not be disappointed later? |
