I found the problem. There was a Hair Line crack in the copper trace at pin 2 of I906 (-12V Reg) going to R953 (5.6K) and D953 (-27V LED). Once repaired -27V LED on Protect led off, and all works fine.

I have a Hitachi Projection TV Protect Led would come on no other Leds (green) would relay would click when power button was pressed. I replaced I901(STRM6511) as well as STK4274 (3). Now set comes on but protection light comes on and -27v led does not light, indicating trouble on that line, all other green leds lit. I do not have a service manual for unit. I have checked all caps (esr) resistors, ect. although picture looks fine other than need of convergence touch up. Chassis AP52 Any suggestions? Thanks.
