| Well story short......I had a dead RCA 52inch chassis, power supply blown after power surge with multiple components blown.......so i didn't bother to fix it. Now a buddy gave me a dead zenith pvy5265 48" projector box, which I found an open resistor, and got it working and mounted it in the RCA cabinet.......reset all convergence and overall looks pretty good. The Problem: "Red only" for about the bottom 4 inches, and a little bit on the top, the horizontal red will vibrate vertically slightly for about a second or two, then stop for a second or two and vibrate again and will continuously repeat. Center of the screen is unaffected. Not that huge of an issue, but it gets annoying when using the channel guide, or watching news channels with scrolling text. I'd appreciate any suggestions of what is causing this and tips of what to check to fix this. My background: I'm an electrical engineering student, and this is mostly a side hobby to learn more about general electronics. Thanks, Brian |
