| Not sure how to "refresh" ribbons?
Hard to tell from the pictures if they are "soldered type" or not? If so, you can try re-soldering the ends or else need to replace them. Not knowing who manufactured it, it is a hit or miss trying to find a repalcement. but it should be possible to find some sort of replacement or improvise. |

| I have a digital chess clock that is malfunctioning.

When pressure is applied to the ribbon at specific places along the left connector it cures the display issue.
