If it is a reasonably modern Blaupunkt car radio, then the two connectors are certainly so-called ISO connectors that are used by all major brands since the mid-nineties. So then it should be no problem to swap it for another unit.
The only exception is some odd signals (i.e. for controlling a motor antenna, dial lights and so on), but it is impossible to give any general advice there, you will have to study the installation manual for the old radio as well as for the new one to determine what to do with those signals. If the cables with ISO connectors are parts of the car's original cabling, then you should also study the wiring diagram for the car. |
