| hi,not quite sure if there is no sound?---but okay on headphones. first check wiring is okay to speakers and connections on amplifier unit,if in order,have you tried another pair of speakers--check that impedance is correct.if you now have sound,some new speaker drive units will be required/new pair of speakers.-------if you still do not have sound,then it is time to remove cover,and check solder joints on headphone socket,burnt/overheated componenents,or failed components in the main amplifier output stage(s).blown fuses--check very carefully out transistors/power i.c's along with low value resistors.---if you do not know what you are doing--please seek assistance from someone competent with this type of equipment,as a failure in the main amplifier can turn into a very costly adventure--(i know so from previous experience.) |
