| its not the fuse, if it was the fuse the standby led would not light, replace the line output transformer and transistor, tv that old probably has a poor crt as well. | |

| Recovered TV with fuse missing.
Need to know what fuse type is needed. Have tried both 13A and 5A, both giving same result: A click as it powers up, but immediately goes into stand by mode, and the red LED on the front of the tv flashes twice, then pauses before flashing twice again |
