| I would suspect bad convergence IC's. |

My Hitachi 53FDX20B 6 years old, stopped working this morning. It was working fine the night before.
Power light is ON (red light on front panel), I can hear clicking noise while switching on and off. I opened the back and saw
1 - RED LED ON
Out of 5 total GREEN LEDs, 4GREEN LEDs ON but for one LED (DP23).
Is it a simple problem which a layman like me can fix? If not, how much would it cost to fix the problem? Since the TV is already 6 years old, is it worth fixing it? I would greatly appreciate any response. |
