Wow, 10 minutes? Takes me 45/60. Any ways, yes you can take the back light from one and transfer to another as long as it's the exact same mode. |

| Yes- it is done all the time in pro shops(lights only last @1000 hrs!). The place to get them is your tv makers parts supplier- the cost may shock you! around $2-300!. About 10 mins work to r/p. May not be lights(usually is)- could be inverter circuit. | |

| Morning All,
A question that has been bothering me for quite a while, is it possible to change a backlight for an LCD TV? I have done this for laptop screen, but never for LCD TV. If it is possible, are there any do's or don'ts I should be aware of and where would I get the backlights from, can I take them from other LCD TV's? Also is there any where on the web where it shows this being done? Thanks in adavance.  |
