I am kind of screwed, do not know if this is the right place to ask but did so seeing you people are talking on LCD monitors. All of a sudden my 19" LCD L192WS (LG) pixel got stuck, how do I repair this problem? Can it be fixed above all? |

Well, Acer doesn't have a big assortment of 22 inch monitors, it shouldn't be too difficult for you to figure out which one you have.

How would i go about getting their service manual? I have already emailed them asking them how to open it but they said they don't support that kind of tech support.
The lcd screen looks just like this one
It's not that exact model though. Picture 6 shows the backing, which does not have screws, those are mounting holes on the lcd i have. no visible screws or anything covering them. I've taken apart my share of electronics, and this one has no screws to mention.
-Thanks

Inspect closely- sometimes there are stickers, or flush covers, or stand buttons- sometimes internal catches- the thing is not to force anything, but try gentle persuasion- then again, you could get the makers' service manual which will show how to!. |

|
Hello, I have a 22" Acer LCD screen that I bought to use as a digital picture frame. I had a custom picture frame made for the screen and I plan to attach it to the outside of the screen.
Since the power button is on the front of the screen (naturally), I decided i'd rewire the power button to somewhere on the back (because the frame will cover it up). Problem is, i can't get the case open cause there are no screws on the back.
I've seen many devices that are built this way...so how do I go about opening it without causing any damage to the device?
-Thanks for any help. |
