The system consists of two units. one is the display and the second one is a box called the AVC, which is the TV electronics. I do not think that is is the power strip, because on both units the power LEDs are on. It could be surge protection, but how to reset it? The CLEAR button on the TV box does not bring any change.

In the evening everything was working fine. The next day when I tried to switch on, the display unit status indicator went to green for a shor moment (as it should be) and after that went to flashig red. Tried one more time with the same result. After switching the power of the display unit and of the AVC system off and on, the status indicator of the of the display is flashing red only, as if the AVC system is not on. Checked the AC cord of the AVC unit, it seems OK. The status indicator of the AVC system is always on red.
What could be wrong?
