| Thanks for the reply .It's sorted . It was the mobile phone link to the stereo , to mute content when doing a hands free thru the unit ? Not that we had it set up for that . The guy from the audio shop cut an orange wire and it works fine now , despite the wire stating it was dashboard lights! Maybe this will help someone else with the same problem . |

Is there a mute button on the front of the radio? if so then try pressing that.If that dosn't work then i don't know whats wrong with it .Maybe see if your guarantee is still in date and take it back into the shop.

| I have on display message MUTING on a panasonic CQ_RDP383N stereo . The unit is working fine when tested in store .Bought New ISO connector , which was used on instore check when radio played fine .No sound or controls working in car . Cant find no mention of Muting in trouble shoot section of manual .Mute obviously shuts off sound but MUTING? Cd wont play ive tried Bought CD and mp3 cd,s nothing . |
