Been using a Pioneer VSX-305 reciever for quite some time w/out any issues running our PS2 + DVD player.

A day or so ago I hooked up my laptop with an AVG cord to the back of the TV to watch some TV shows, I used a set of computer speakers hooked up to the laptop to hear the episodes.

When we went to watch a movie tonight, there was no sound coming from the reciever. We thought maybe something had gotten unplugged, took out the AVG cable, still no sound... turned the volume up all the way and finally was able to hear the sound.

Not sure where to check as far as troubleshooting this. Help would be great as we're not in a situation to really purchase another one.
