| Disconnect the front key pad switches. Then use the remote to try and turn it on. |

I have a technician scheduled to come out tomorrow (8/29). The charge for just coming out is $99 and then an estimate will be provided for the cost to repair the TV.
Would appreciate any guidance as to whether it is even worth having someone come to check the problem. Given the age of the TV and the cost of new LCDs' should I just cancel the visit by the technician? |

When I turn on the tv using the remote there is no sound, and no picture but there is a clicking sound and the green timer light blinks once. If I press the power button on the front panel, nothing happens.
I tried pressing the menu and input button on the front panel simultaneously and nothing happens - no blinking light.
The TV is ten years old but it has been lightly used.
Would appreciate any advice. |
