After going through my purchase records I bought this:
Intel Pentium M Processor 770 2.13GHz 533 2MB SL7SL, which I think is the fastest the board could handle according to the service manual. Incidentally I think the board can handle 2Gb of ram not the 1GB the vaio website implies. |

Yes, but the service manual isn't going to tell you squat about the mainboard. Which is what the original poster was inquiring about.

Hi
I am trying to fing the manufacturer of my sony Vaio FS215E laptop mainboard. I have used different software to ID the hardware but the mainboard details are reserved or not given.
Can anyone help? I want to upgrade the CPU.
