Hi all,
I have 2 Panasonic electric fans, remote controlled, model number F-400KS. Both are about 1.5 years old.
Here's a picture: http://www.cec.com.sg/ProductDetails.cfm?p=523&c0=6&c1=99&c1n=Electric%20Fan
Both have started malfunctioning. Does anyone have a service manual? Or some good advice?
Problem with 1st fan:
*when switching it on - either by the remote control or by the on/off button on the fan itself - the fan blades will turn for less than 0.5 seconds before the fan switches itself off automatically.
*this problem occurs when using the remote control and also when using the buttons on the fan itself.
Problem with 2nd fan:
*when pressing the "oscillating" button on the remote control, this fan (from that moment on) will refuse to accept any more remote control signals:
*this problem occurs as soon as the "oscillating" button on the remote control is pressed; all other buttons on the remote control will not cause any problem
*note: I have tested this with 2 remote controls and the problem is the same for both remote controls; the "oscillating" command causes the fan no longer to accept remote control signals.
*when using the buttons on the fan itself rather than the remote control, the fan functions normally for all functions.
Hope that someone can help me out.
Regards,
