| Can anyone help me with a bios problem !
I have a Compaq EVO N1050v notebook with a bios password on setup and on HDD. I can't find the CMOS battery on motherboard - I think there is none...I tried a few software's to remove the password or to uncover it, none of them worked,I tried updating the bios - no result, I even tried leaving the laptop without the battery for a month or so.., again no result's. The motherboard is equipped with a flash named SST39SF040. The big question is: CAN ANYONE TELL ME HOW TO GET RID OF THE BIOS PASSWORD, OR HOW TO RESET THE BIOS FLASH WITHOUT REMOVING IT FORM MOTHERBOARD ??? I really like this notebook even if is old  , and I really want to use it for a wile (I don't care about the data from HDD, was only the windows installed on it)
