| first do you have some knowledge to troubleshooting? what's type of your TV? CRT TV? if CRT Tv ok here some tips for you, just simple reset... can you do it? well'' if you can, unplug the cord. opoen up your TV back cover and full out slowly the main board and upside down your tv find the EEFROM or Memory chip... then unsolder the 4 pins of your EEFROM not include the ground ok? now before you plug it the power cord make sure that there is no wire grounded... ok plug it the power cord then push power botton then take a look the screen if its ok try to push chanel up/down if it is working ok. now whle your tv open solder the 4 pins becareful to not be short... now if your done try again to push the chenel and volume if working too... then turn off the botton turn on again if working.... your now is TV reset no child lock hope this can help you!!! | |

| Hi can anybody tell how to get Tv working, Its on child lock and wont let me use the buttons on Tv , I must use the remote control but it is Broke
TV model is SEG 42723, Remote control model is 1542. Dont know where to get a new Remote control, I tried a Universal remote but would not work |
