i have a sony str av-900 when u turn it on it acts like it wants to work but then goes into protector mode and another way is when u turn it on and press a button it hold it and then let go of the button then it works but no sound but another way is if u turn it on and off enough it produces sound for a few second then back into protector model this works when i have a eq hooked up 2 it when i get sound it is loud and i have the volume at one
