First post Yay!! I am having some trouble with one of my plasma's. Model ppm50H3Q. There is a post here with pictures. http://www.dslreports.com/forum/r23926927-Fuzzy-Rectangle-on-samsung-plasma-tv Just today I replaced the upper y-buffer board as I was told to in that forum but upon closer inspection there is a dent in the back panel of the plasma right over the y-sustain and the dent is also present on the y-sustain board itself. I am thinking that this might have to do with the black rectangle. I have gone thru the different menus and upon changing the contrast once I hit 69 the square completely disappears but once I go back into the menu it reverts to the way it was. Any idea what could cause this??? I am thinking that the big dent in the metal shield on the y-sustain might have something to do with it but I looked at it and nothing appears broken but I havent had a chance to remove and properly inspect it. |
