| Is any other need to check before replacing this STR 6707 or we have to put the exact diode instead of IN4007.can i get any cross reference for the diode D1NL20U. |

Hope that General Purpose diode's the same as a Super Fast Switching diode.  |

I received a sony G21q2(chasis BG-2S) in dead condition.Checked and found that STR6707 Failed with Diode D609 (D1NL20U).Replaced the STR6707,but cannot able to find the same diode and replaced the diode with IN4007.After this everything fine,but the TV ran only 1/2 hour and again the STR6707 Failed(Baseto collector short).Kindly need solution.
