|
[I replaced IC Q880 #23135089 and the TV works! The part should be a STR-W6765, but I was sent a STR-W6756]
Can you tell me where you purchased this as I am hoping it will fix my problem too. It would be nice to know I am ordering from a trusted site by knowing you got yours and it worked.
However; my problem is slightly different. I do get the 3 blinks of the red light, but after a few of those the light turns blue and my LCD's backlight comes on with no picture for about 10 second intervals. I've found a few places where the 3 red light pattern is discussed, but never the backlight coming on like mine.
Anyway if anyone knows of this problem or a trusted place to get this part let me know!
Thanks! |

Is located inside the TV. Use your eyes. |

I replaced IC Q880 #23135089 and the TV works! The part should be a STR-W6765, but I was sent a STR-W6756. I thought that I may have been sent the wrong part, but after searching for the STR-W6700 Series data sheet it's pinned out the same with some lower specs. I tried it. It works.
Total cost with shipping under $12 US. |

Replace and go. No tuning required. This is the easy fix. If it doesn't work post back it may effected the 2 other regulators. I'm working on a fix for that as we speak. The power supply are back ordered that's why I'm working on a solid one fixes all. Try Q880 first. |
