I'm in the process of upgrading my television system as a first step I've just bought a new Sony 32EX403 television.

My old system CRT tv, oldish VCR and pretty recent DVD Player were all connected via scart leads and currently my DVD is connected to the Sony via a scart. Now what I am wondering is if this is sufficient to give me HD quality if watching a HD DVD or will I have to buy a set of new cables
