Im trying to connect my VCR to my tv, so I can record a show from Sky, but I'm only getting a blue screen, and I have no clue anymore, how to connect it, Do I need to connect my vcr to sky box or not?

I do know my tv, have 2 scarts, skybox have 2 scarts and my vcr working with those white/red/yellow cables (sorry I dont know the name of it) I just want to record the show and have no clue how to connect
