| thanks guys ,and minnie ,you are indeed very helpful,.but i think the panal is not the problem as when watching a picture it disappears and the yellows smear,.i would like to send a photo so yopu can see what it looks like,.but can't do that here from what i see,. |

There may be a inherent problem with this model. A few years ago, I found out about a problem with our Sony TV. Sony sent us a new LCD bulb and 'minnie' was very helpful in making us aware of the problem.

| i have a sony 37 inch lcd t.v it has a blue line about 3 inches wide running down the screen from top to bottom,.around two thirds of the screen down,.the picture looks good other than that,. |
