I currently have 31 Visio TV service manuals on my site and over 2000 Sony TV manuals. I sell far more of the Vizio manuals than all other brands combined.

There is no meaning manufacturing such products as they cannot stand by in the market for the long time. It is just the wastage of time and money manufacturing such stuff. Customers today needs best services in every products specially such! |

Buy garbage, get garbage. That's why I laugh when someone suguests a Vizio over Insignia or Dynex. At least you can get parts! What's stopping Vizio from telling their customers any repair isn't economical? Nothing... |

In Sweden, sellers of TVs and similar consumer goods are required by the consumer protection agency to keep service and spare parts available for at least 6 years after purchase. |

Vizio and other lower-tier brands purchase their sets from assemblers |
They should be forced to put a warning on "their" products. If set fails under our limited warranty we will exchange it ... If set fails out-of-warranty, DO NOT even think about trying to have it repaired by us as (since we already have your money) we consider it "disposable."
Basically, they are selling you a TV for a certain amount of dollars that they (keeping their fingers crossed) hope will hold up for "x" months (the warranty period). |
