| Good evening
I am really in need of some help on this please as i started this progect over two weeks ago and dont have much hair left. I got given this and thought i would have a tincker with it, i have not done a lot of repairs on eqiptment but thought i might have got this blu ray working seeing as i build Pc for fun,how wrong was i lol. Ok well from what i got told was that this machine was doing a firmware download but some how got corupted before finalising. The message i get on the machine is sys err, from what i have read on the net is that i should just hold down the power button and the firmware should ever carry on were it left off or reset. I dont know if this make a differance but it wont connect to my lcd tv via HDMI, so cant check any setting or version of firmware. I have downloaded the firmware file from Sony and used numerus cd-r burning programs ie Nero, Burn img burn ect but cant get this Blu-Ray player to read the cd. Any help and guidance would be very much appesiated I have ask if anyone would have the service manual for this player hoping i might shead some light on this problem. Many thanks in advance Mike |
